The New York Times Photo Archive department came to us to design and produce special packaged collections on favorite subjects of their readers as well as New Yorkers. These were actual printed newspapers with the archival articles. We designed an exciting, fresh look despite their historic themes and limited photo quality. Original pages date to the 1850s including Civil War photographs.
We produced several sets about Lincoln, the Beatles, Elvis Presley, the Mets and the Yankees, World War II and football. The best seller was the package on Air and Space. We also designed the promotions that appeared on the online store for these packages. www.nytstore.com
